Fall in Pennsylvania is glorious. I love this time of year, and (due to a trillion moves during childhood) I’ve had the privilege of celebrating this season in many different states. New England probably has us beat, but PA comes in a close second! Aw yeah, we know how to rock autumn!
I know you’re more interested in crafts, vignettes, furniture rehab, room redo’s, etc. but allow me to bore you for a sec with pics from our day….
It was bright… 🙂
Millions of peaches, peaches for me…. Let’s see how many of you are from my generation and know that song!
And here is what I will be doing the rest of the weekend. I’ve stressed, and hemmed, and hawed, and lamented over my paint colors for my lower level. I have FINALLY decided on a shade and it is one of these three! I’ll show it to you soon :).
What are you up to this weekend?

I found you googling sonia kashuk, but, um…do I know you? Or maybe that guy holding those two little boys? He looks like someone I know from Messiah college Agape Center??
Moving to the country, I gotta eat me a lot of peaches….
You all look like you are having a blast. 🙂 Hope you are well!
I am in PA as well! You can hardly have your windows open on these nights!
We are only feeling a hint of fall here is S. GA, but I am looking forward to cooler temps. This is my favorite time of year. Jackie
Hey there! Loved reading your Fall post. Your family is precious! I, too, love the Fall … just wish we had more time with the true season down here in Myrtle. Please post pics soon of your Fall decor! So, you're retiring your red, too? We just did the same in our kitchen (painted our red accent wall cream). When you have a moment, stop by and take a peek. I can't tell you how much we love the new SW "Ivoire" paint color … totally brightens and "enlarges" the space. Take care, Becca
YUP we in the NE are blessed…love the Fall, can't wait to make an apple pie, just love the way the house smells
Beth you guys are adorable….love to see your fam pics…
All the best,
Kathy 🙂
ps have I told you how annoyed I am with those peeps that caused you to not allow annons anymore !!!! grrrr !!
Hmm you got us beat. Fall here usually means lots of rain and a bit of sunshine mixed in.
I would love to go to a farm like that!
Can't wait to see your kitchen redo. I wasn't going to say anything but it is high time that red went out of there 😉
Ok, how did I not know you're in PA? Im right on the NY/PA border! I agree…LOVE fall time and all it has to offer. Enjoyed your pics:)

I'm in love with Fall!! I'm a Massachusetts girl, so Fall is the best, most comfortable time of year. I am however stuck in Merryland where it is too warm this time of year (yuk!).
It was nice to see the pics, I too drag my family on those trips. Happy fall!
I love seeing what other bloggers are up to! 🙂 (I also love your boots) Looks like you all had a blast!
I'll bet that fall in PA is beautiful. It looks like your family had a fun time visiting an orchard.
I have a feeling that it just may be a tad early this year because of our hot, dry summer.
WOW lovely Saturday! I love Fall as well! I've only experience IL and TN but I must say that Fall is my favorite season! Prayin for you as you endeavor to create the new color of your main level:)
Peaches come in a can, they were put there by a man in a facorty down townnnnnnnnn… Nature's candy in my hand or pie! – love that song!
What a fun day! I was just telling my hubby that I want to go to the apple orchard and go on a hay ride… Fall is pretty here too! : )
Yeah, now I'm going to be singing that song all night long. haha
Cute pics! Looks like a great day. I think any one of those colors will look good on your walls. Can't wait to see.
Its right around the corner and will be here in no time at all.
Fall is nice here in Ohio too but I'm not ready for it. I'm just not but I can't very well stop the season, can I? ha ha I just need to buck up! I just wanted to see if you chose the bottom right color for the wall color. I agonize over colors for our home too. So nice to hear. oooohh…can't wait to see which one you chose.
Love me some peaches. I bought a bushel this season and made peach preserves, peach butter and spiced peach butter. I also sweetened some and put them in the freezer for cobblers.
We traveled to PA and up to Maine a couple of years ago in the fall and I have to say that it was incredible. The beauty was overwhelming to me at times. God is truly an artist.
Peaches come from a can, they were put there by a man in factory downtown…(yes I get that song in my head every time we pass a peach orchard) 😉
Looks like an amazing day! What a special time to spend with your family.
Thoroughly jealous of you people up there who aren't dealing with upper 90 temps right now! Hope y'all had a fun day.
So, my 6-yr old daughter hears Peaches on the radio every once in awhile (gotta love Sirius 90s on 9!), and it doesn't matter how many times we correct her, she ALWAYS sings it: "Many of peaches, peaches for me. Many of peaches, peaches for free!" Cracks me up every time. 😉
Funny! We just went to an orchard in not-quite-so-beautiful Arizona over Labor Day and picked apples, Asian pears and peaches.
Even more funny is that I was singing "millions of peaches, peaches for me" while we rode through the orchard. 🙂
Yep, fall is beautiful in PA. I just hit the farmers market last week. I live in orchard country and we get some awesome produce this time of year.
LOL, I remember that peach song! Was that their only hit? I'll have to look that up.
Great pics, it looks like so much fun!
The presidents!!! I remember that song! All your pictures look great! Looks like you had a wonderful time with your family!
Those peaches look incredible! I'm up in B.C. Canada, and we have a lot of apples up here. I have to travel a couple of hours for hand picked peaches though. I hope you have a good recipe to share…and I love those paint colors–all of them! Can't wait to see which one you'll pick. My fav is the darker 'tan'. Anywho…got some baking to do, and a photo tut. Have a good weekend!!
I miss picking apples in the orchard in Michigan where we used to live. It is still in the mid 90's here so we don't have a whole lot of fall going on yet!
Love you top!!!
Jemma and I went to the Gibbes Art Museum and walked several miles in downtown Charleston today. She was a trooper with her "pirate" map and was ready to walk! The BHW is in Germany so we are just being girly!
Hope you have a great weekend with your cool weather and fall stuff! We will see that in a few months!!! Can you tell I am a bit jealous?!? 🙂
Love the photos. Thanks for sharing them with us. Missouri has gorgeous fall colors here in the Ozarks and I just couldn't imagine living somewhere without the vibrancy of fall. Have a great day!
Sarah
You're right, Fall in PA is glorious. Your photos really made me miss home. I have so many memories of getting bushels of peaches for canning with my mom, and the pumpkin patches…oh the pumpkin patches! Thanks for posting your photos. Love your gray shirt too!
moving to the country…going to eat a lot of peaches!!!!!
♥ fall too 🙂 moved to central ny after growing up in AZ so I love the seasons!!!!!!!!!
See – now I have had to go google who sings that song! Looks like a great day!
Pa here also…..i am anxiously waiting for the Applefeast that takes place 1st 2 weekends in Oct.
We moved to PA less than 2 years ago and I agree! We just went apple picking for the first time this weekend. Autumn is my favorite season and PA does not disappoint!
Soooo pretty! I'm in PA too…I think we'll wait a week or 2 to get to our local "pick your own" place, but I can't wait! 🙂
Oh, I love the yearly trip to the pumpkin patch, just as I did when the kids were little. Fun, Fun, Fun!!
Aren't fall peaches the best?
xoxo
Jane
Looks like so much fun. And thanks to you pics I'm now singing "I'm moving to the country, gonna eat me alot of peaches"
And will probably go download the entire song.
I loved seeing your pictures!! Autumn is super lame here in Las Vegas. We don't get Fall color. So I really enjoy getting to go on virtual tours ;).
I look forward to seeing your paint color reveal. Have a great week-end!
Hugs, Lisa
