OMG, I love it! thanks for the inspiration, I needed some today, just about the pull out my stuff!
I love the wrapped candles. How easy is that?! Off to pretty up my candle stash left over from my wedding 7 years ago…
Beth, it looks great! Love the date "31". Great witch too… So nice to share ideas. The best compliment is to copy an idea.

I love both those mantels.
I'm really starting to like the black and white themes that I have been seeing around.
Thanks for sharing!
They both look amazing.. I wish I had a mantel to decorate… However much you "copy" your friend I am sure you will make it your own too.

Both look fabulous! Reminds me again why I love Halloween oh so much!

This is a fun Halloween mantle! I like the little frame with a "31" in it. Very clever!
As far as copying your bff goes, my mother always said, "You can never be the only; you can only be the first!" So true, don't you think?
Stop by my blog and take a look at my restyled Halloween wreath! Would love to have your comments!

Hilary, the clock came from Walmart of all places! It was in the clearance aisle for $25 because it's slightly scratched up (which didn't bother me one bit). 🙂
Your mantel was gorgeous before and after. I covet your clock… where did it come from?
Love it! Two of my FAVORITE blogs in cahoots (or however you spell it!). Both mantels/mantles look great and make me want to re-do mine. So cute!
I love it! Both mantles look fantastic! Some of my favorite decor ideas in our home are total copy cats! No shame in that!
Ha ha -your post is so funny! And I love the results. 🙂 My mantel will be lucky to have some fall luminaires placed on it!
Love it! I especially love the framed "31". I am SO copying that for Christmas 🙂
I've been back three times today to read this post. I'm obsessed. I just think it's the coolest thing that "social media" allows us to have this relationship! I love having you as my blog BFF! It's a beautiful mantel mantle–whether I inspired you or not.
YOU ARE ON TV~!!!!!! I am so excited! I yelled for my hubbie to come in to see my friend on TV. I know I am a dork. Also I love all of this Halloween decor!
Well, if I'm trying to be responsible and safety first, I'll say don't burn them. If I'm being myself here though, I'll say I burn them all the time with no problem. My pillar candles don't burn quickly and they are dripless. To adhere the scrapbook paper, I simply used some double sided tape in the back of each. Scrapbook paper is a wondrous thing! Love it for decorating!
I like both of your looks! 🙂 I have a question about the candles…do you leave those out just for decoration, or can you burn them even if they have paper on them? Do you adhere them to your candle with anything special? They look great!
Very nicely done. What are BFF's for, but to lean on once in a while, right? I'm sure you'll return the favor of being her muse someday, if you haven't already! I really like your black fabric pumpkin.
Totally love it! It's creative, a little spooky and festive all at the same time! Love the litle witchie! Isn't it great to have your "go to" BFFs? *Becca*
looks great! p.s. i saw you on TV just now 🙂
Love it Beth!! And that's why I read blogs like yours…to inspire me!
Ha! So funny. I love your mantle mantel ! So festive, fun, and spooky too! Your home is always decorated so lovely.

They both look great and it is amazing how much similar stuff you have! yet, even though you "copied" you put you own flair into it and it looks great. 🙂
Happy Fall Ya'll from Houston!
Looks great, Beth! You may have copied but they look pretty different to me. 🙂 I'm still trying to get my Halloween mantel done. Ugh!
Love both of your mantels. You know what they say: "When in Rome" or "Copying is the sincerest form of flattery". I'm a huge advocate of copying.
Even though you copied, they are totally different.
That is so funny that you two have similar items! Both are cute mantles!
It looks great!!! I haven't even tried to get my Halloween boxes out. I am so lazy!!!
Love it. What a great friend Chris is!

Way cute! So…just gonna throw this out there…but I think you should totally have a Halloween mantle(mantel) party! I love yours and JAGs and have seen so many great ones in blogland that someone else may want to copy!!
I sometimes wonder if I have a creative bone in my body–I don't come up with many original ideas. I am a huge copy cat.
