Father’s Day Ideas (cont.)

Okay, so I shouldn’t be posting this before Father’s Day, but I just can’t help myself. Look how cute these turned out! I’m going to frame them in some distressed frames I found at Gabriel Brother’s for $2 each and glue them together to make one big frame. Not bad for a $6 Daddy’s Day gift, huh?

So how did I do it?  I printed out the “Daddy” letters on the computer in Word using a 600pt font, cut them out, and took pics of the boys on my flokati rug.  Then I designed the pictures using scrapblog.com.  Seriously people, if you haven’t checked out Scrapblog yet, you need to.  I usually just use one of their predesigned templates and stick my pictures in, but not this time.  This time I did it all from scratch and am truly pleased with the end result.  Daddy will LOVE it!

  1. This is adorable! I have never used scrapblog before. How did you get the individual pages from there? Did you order them individually as cards?

    Thanks!

  2. Beth – These are too cute. Maybe even I could attempt something so creative on that site. My creative energy begins and ends with words; raw materials are not my thing. 😉 Keep it up!
