Good for you! You've got a lot going on girl. Take your time with blogging. Your readers love whatever you can put out, whenever you can.
It's good to know that we're not alone in the struggles of being a mother, wife, chaufer, chef, maid, etc… And I am never caught up, I don't think I would know what to do with myself if it ever happened. Go live life – it's what happens when you are busy making other plans…
You and I are on the same page sister! I marked my google reader as "mark all as read" this morning, got my e-mail down to zero and am shutting of the computer for DAYS. I am burnt out by trying to feel like I need to 'keep up' and Honestly I just want to craft because I want to, not because I need something to blog about. I have scheduled some posts though and that always helps me. I take a week or so off- get projects done, write the posts and schedule them. Then the week that they are scheduled I can create more things and have no stress of 'if I don't finish this and blog about it today I won't have a post for 3 more days!'
Good luck and I hope you get some quality time with those kiddos!

Sometimes you have to do what you have to do…
I feel like I cannot get it together a lot of the time too. I just have to do the best I can and remember that's all you can do 🙂 Take care of what you need to and come back when you can… I miss your posts!! 🙂
We understand, Beth. You and your family come first as they should.
Blessings!
You have to do what is best for you and your family. You have a lot going on and we support you! Take care and see you soon!
you take care of what's important. we'll all be here when you get back 🙂
This is always a battle for me too. I work full-time and have alot of help with child care and we are lucky to someone to clean my house but it's all the other stuff that I want and have to do that is the struggle. I am still searching for a solution : )
I don't either, but you know that.
Hang in there and take care of what NEEDS to be taken care off, your blog not being high on that list.
Sending good vibes your way….
Take time and relax. Spend time with the kids. Get the house in order. Chill and be happy. We're still here and aren't going anywhere. xoxoxox
Good for you!!! I was off the 'puter all day a few days ago b/c I had a closet that needed major purging. It stunk b/c I had some businessy stuff I needed to finish for my MOPS group, but I needed to work and my kids needed me to play with them. 🙂 Two thumbs up for you for being real!
I'm totally there with you. If not for my retired mother coming over and making lunch and watching Eloise when I have to get stuff done….I'd never get stuff done.
Even with her I feel like I'm missing out on time with them.
I wish the best for you and your family this coming home school year. I hope to see you Sept. 16th….or sooner….whatever….
I think we all appreciate people showing us that they're REAL and not living a perfect life like "blogland" can sometimes make people out to be…
Enjoy time with your family 🙂
Take your time Beth! With God's grace we'll be here when your responsibilities are caught up! Lisa
happens to the best of bloggers! family should come first. try not to play super mom, having fun times with your kids is so important, everything else will wait. i just became an empty nester, my house is clean laundry is done and no one is here. just enjoy the time they are young!
I don't do it either…. Thanks for posting about it, makes me feel a little more normal.
And that's real life! I never had it all under control when I was a SAHM and my kids were young. My kids are older now and I still don't have it all under control. You do the best you can and not beat yourself up over it!
And blessings to you, dear woman. I've missed you, and I've wondered what's up. Sounds like LIFE is up with you. And you only get one of those. So live it. And take care of yourself.
Take your time Beth. I've taken several weekends off to enjoy the sunshine and what life off the net has to offer and it's been wonderful! I wish the same for you too. Guilt free, baby!
How do I do it? I don't. Some things get done, and others don't. It's all in the priorities. 🙂
But scheduled blog posts do help. When I get a writing urge, I write one and hold it in drafts for another time. That definitely helps in the blog sense. 🙂
