I will admit it. I was jealous. Okay, so I am still jealous.
While most of my favorite bloggers were laughing, bonding, two stepping, and Harry Connick Jr.’ing here:
I was experiencing my bliss snow here:
And let me tell you, the Snowdom ’10 conference was so NOT my bliss. Like many of you NE peeps, we received enough snow for the entire winter in a period of twelve hours.
You might remember that I took this picture of my bathroom shells for you on Friday afternoon…
…and here is what it looked like Saturday morning!
But at least the kids can get out in the snow and have some fun, right?
Are we having fun yet?
Ugh. How much longer until spring? Go away Snowdom ’10. Go. A.Way.
we're actually jealous of you! you've probably gotten more snow in the last week than we have all year up here in Wisconsin…
Holy snow! That's crazy I've been watching on the news!
We have also had a *crazy* amount of snow here in Nebraska this winter! It feels like spring is a LONG way away! 🙂
We just got a dusting in the Denver metro area. Two of out girls are in Vegas and they had rain! It is chilly all over the place! Except, apparently in Miami, for Super Bowl Sunday!
It looks very cold where you are! Brrr…Where the heck is that French Hot Chocolate???
I'm with ya girl. I was a tad jealous. Next year though! We can be roomies.. 😉
And, wow on the snow! That's insane!! We got a tad but nothing like that. I'm counting down to the second when spring gets here. 🙂
That's a lot of snow! Yikes!
I'm in Pittsburgh, and we got 18 inches overnight! It was crazy…
wow!!!
i am only an about 2 hours (north) away and we got nothing… in fact the sun has shined both yesterday and today like it has not done since the fall!
i know though that we are in for it bigtime… like the year we had a blizzard on Feb 14 and March 17…
have fun in the snow
We had that accumulation last month. I am so glad we didn't get any of that yesterday! I am so looking forward to Spring!
beth, you are such a clever one!
cute post idea. i have some major blissdom jealousy going on as well. AND it was only a 2 hour drive away from me AND i had a friend i could of stayed with for free!!! but just couldn't do money for the ticket & time wise.
i hope your snow melts quickly – i can't imagine all that snow you guys are getting & the DC area. un-real. cook up your favorite sweets & comfort food & eat to your heart's content. 😉 take care!
same thing going on in Northern Virginia…
Holy cow!
Just focus on the shells and think good thoughts. Nice warm, sunny, sandy thoughts.
NJ feels your pain — back pain that is from shoveling. We had 2 feet on Friday and another foot yesterday! Looks like the little people had a great time. Imagine how much snow this looks like to them.
WOW…now that's a boatload of SNOW! I hope you stay WARM and DRY:)
Blessings,
Linda
Yes, ma'am! I'm with you. I threw open the door, looked up towards Heaven and cried, "Uncle!" to no avail. 🙁
Come wind and rain, go snow!
That last photo is precious!!!!
Oh my, look at that adorable snow, I have never seen snow like that. I have seen snow in England, but i live in West Australia, we don't get snow here. How exciting for you.
Wow! That's a ton of snow! Makes me a little glad that I live in Texas…
