I have a confession to make. I am an incredibly lazy everyday cook and baker. For special occasions, I don’t mind putting in the extra effort required to make something fancy–but for everyday treats and meals I want it to be delicious, quick, and EASY which is why I love this peanut butter fudge recipe. Two ingredients, a bit of stirring, toss on some chocolate chips if you’re feeling so inclined and you come out looking like a superstar!

5 Minute Peanut Butter Fudge

INGREDIENTS:

  • 18-20 ounces of peanut butter (It’s okay if it’s not exact. This was a 40 ounce jar so I used approximately half the jar.)
  • 1 can vanilla or cream cheese frosting (You can experiment with flavors. I’ve found the whipped frostings do not work as well. I like the cream cheese frosting.)

Enjoy! That is all there is to it! This is such an easy recipe that kids can even make it by themselves. The fudge will be a softer consistency than real fudge, but the consistency is improved with chilling. If you prefer a denser fudge you can add 1 cup of powdered sugar to the recipe; however, this will obviously add to the sweetness. We prefer a softer fudge so this recipe is perfect for us when we want a quick treat.
