Have I told you recently that I love blogging? I do. The main reason I love blogging is because it puts me into contact with all of you….and you are amazing! I have made so many new friends this year, and I’d love to introduce you to one of my latest. Heather @ Pixie Dust has only been blogging on her new blog since October, so she may be new to you too. Heather bakes and crafts and decorates…and makes gorgeous manilla folder planners!
How cute is this one she made as a Christmas gift?
And guess what? Christmas has come early for The Stories of A to Z! Heather was nice enough to make one for ME! In a blog comment, I jokingly asked her when she was going to be making my planner, and, well…she did. I just received it a few hours ago in my mailbox.
Heather even included a beautiful card with my name on it. Okay, well, my name isn’t exactly Princess but while growing up my mom would frequently say (in a muy sarcastica tone mind you), “anything else your highness???” so being referred to as Princess feels very comfortable. My planner is all pink and girly and monogrammed with a “b”. LOVE. In a house of three boys, these small details are appreciated all the more. Fist bumps all around for moms-of-boys.
These planners are awesome. They fit right into your diaper bag purse! (we’re almost diaper free around here!!) and keep you organized on-the-go. You may mistake me for an organized person by looking at my blog. I’m not. My grocery list, receipts, and coupons are currently in a big jumbled mess at the bottom of my bag. I think they may even be sporting some sippy cup drips and animal cracker crumbs. The word ew comes to mind when looking at my current organizational system. Heather, this will redeem my reputation as someone who pretends to be organized and have it together. More importantly, the cashiers and all the people who sigh loudly behind me in each check out line (so rude) thank you as well!
How do you make one of these cute planners? I have no idea. But lucky for you, Heather does, and she dishes it all for you in a detailed tutorial here. These would make the cutest shower gifts and stocking stuffers, don’t you think?
Go visit Pixie Dust, become a follower, and show her some comment love. You’ll be glad you did.
Thanks again Heather. I am humbled by your gracious gift. You have totally made my day!

Those are soooo cute! The longer I'm a mom of boys, the more pink I try to incorporate around here (I'm not too successful though). I'm going to go check out her craftiness. 🙂

Love them. While you were at it you should have told her to make me one. I am one disorganized person at times. 🙂
Enjoy, Princess!
