Tips and Tutorials in Review {1}

I was LOVING going through all of your projects this week and feeling uber inspired by your thorough tutorials!  Here are just a few that caught my eye this week.
We’ve all seen coffee filter wreaths, but this coffee filter lampshade at Northwest Hospitality is gorgeous!
I am a sucker for jacuzzi tubs and can often be found in mine during cold winter evenings!  My big sis did this gorgeous glass & stone tile border at Sand & Sisal and teaches you how to tile and grout.
Want to know how to make striped drapes? You’re in luck because we had two tutorials this week explaining step by step how to do it!

A Thoughtful Place

I recently discussed the trend of cowhide rugs, and I am loving this cowhide DRESSER from The V Spot!

Addicted to Decorating shows you how to make this gorgeous sunburst mirror from wood shims!

And have you seen that cute pillow by Dwell Studio at Target?  Well I have and I love it, so I really want to try to make this rosette pillow from Crazy Wonderful.  I think it’s crazy cute!

These Ballard’s knock-off antique silverware molds from Vintage Skye are a dead ringer for the original!

Okay, I obviously need some new adjectives here besides brilliant and genius, but I’m sorry, this mini outdoor fireplace tutorial from Style It Chic is just brilliant and genius!  (This site is in Greek so view with Google Chrome browser for instant language translation.)  Wouldn’t this fireplace look fantastic in the center of your outdoor furniture?

Thanks to everyone who linked up and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on this week!

  5. Beth, thank you so much for mentioning my pillow!!! As I was scrolling through the projects I was saying to myself, "love, love, love, oooo… someone has the same red ribbon on their drapes as I do… SQUEAL!!!! That's me!!!" Hahahaha! You totally made my day 😀

    And, after seeing all the other fabulous projects you featured, my poor To-Do list has just gotten longer. Great stuff!

  6. What beautiful inspiration!! Every project you featured is amazing! The coffee filter lampshade is soooo original, and I love the tiles that your sister chose to make her bath such an inviting retreat! Have a great day, Becca

  7. Oh these are some great projects!!! I just registered for a pillow just like the one with the red flowers. As I was adding it to our registry I thought “I can so totally make that!” Oh If I had a penny for all the times I said that I would be one rich lady. The problem is that I don’t buy said awesome thing that I think I could make then never end up making it! I saw a sign at a little boutique the other day that said “Yes you can make that but you never will so just buy it!” Ha!
