This post brought to you by Bed Bath & Beyond. All opinions are 100% mine.
Every year, I travel down to Virginia to celebrate the holidays with my extended family. I absolutely ADORE this tradition and all of the boisterous chaos of celebrating with so many loved ones! However, with the boys getting older I want to have Christmas memories with just the four of us as well. So this Saturday, our little family will be celebrating Christmas a few days early! Stockings will be filled, gifts will appear, and a yummy brunch and yummy dinner will be enjoyed. But what am I going to make? Well, did you know that Bed Bath & Beyond has an entire site called Holiday Your Way devoted to recipes, entertaining tips, decorating, and gifting? They do, and it’s impressive! I’ve never had Coquito before, but I love eggnog and adore coconut so this recipe looks like one worth trying! I’m excited to prepare it for our “cocktail hour” (aka the hubs and I enjoy a cocktail and some candied pecans while the kids play). I’ve also bookmarked the Bourbon and Sweet Potato Gratin recipe. The site has an entire section devoted to Holiday Recipes and “How to” videos with a bunch of yummy-looking suggestions.
Do you have upcoming parties this weekend or New Year’s? Not sure what hostess gift to bring? Check out these Holiday Entertaining suggestions on great serveware hostess gifts. When I am the hostess with the mostest, I always appreciate it when others bring along a good bottle of wine. For tips on choosing the right wine, click on these tips. I loved the tips on pairing wine with some nibbles!
Are your guest rooms ready for your guests? I’ve been visiting my mom’s house every year, several times a year, and I STILL can’t figure out how to properly turn on her majorly confusing television. I love this Guest Room Checklist found on the Holiday Your Way site. Let’s bypass the “how the heck do I turn this thing on” conversation this year by writing up instructions for all of your home electronics. After all, guests who are self-sufficient make for the very best guests!
Thanks Bed Bath & Beyond for taking the time to create an entire site of quality information to help us get “Holiday Ready” this year! I also appreciated that I could shop the suggested items right from the sidebar for any last minute holiday necessities. Bed Bath & Beyond wants to hear about YOUR favorite holiday tips and treats. Feel free to share in the comments section below and be sure to click the “visit sponsor” link so that you can see the site for yourself! Happy Holidays!
