I know it's not as conservative, but I think you should paint your "H" a big, bold shade of golden yellow (not metallic) to stand out from your black door and your wreath. It will blend in with your autumn theme and sort of pull color from the pumpkins next to the door. Just a thought. 🙂 you can always spray it back to black later 🙂
